Sight word write the room

So I forgot to make copies of my recording sheet for my sight word write the room.  I had my students just use white paper and rainbow write words when they finished.  They loved it!

My New Laminator and Glue Sponges!!!!

Ok so the laminator at my school officially bit the dust!  I decided to purchase my own.  I just got a laminator from Wal Mart today!  Its a Scotch brand laminator.  It was $20.  I have already used my first package of sheets.  I absolutely love it! 

Now... for Glue Sponges!!!
I have seen this on a blog and decided to do  my own.  My kinders go through glue like CRAZY!!!! Here is a link to the YouTube video on how to make the sponges.  I made 4 of these.  I will be back next week with pictures from my Snowy Friends Unit.  Have a great week!

Now on a different note....

My husband and I are very greatful to be the parents of 2 beautiful baby boys.  Our oldest ,Luke, is 18 months and our youngest, Levi,  is 7 months.  We were basically told 4 years ago that we could not have children. Well God had a different plan.  After 4 years of prayer, dismay, heartbreak, and struggle in 2012 we had our first son.  Then, we quickly had Levi.  He came at 33 weeks! We spent 4 weeks at Arkansas Children's Hospital.  I would not wish that upon anyone.  Through it all my LORD and SAVIOR cradled our little blessing.  We had sooooo many wonderful doctors and nurses.  Thank the Lord, now we are home and going strong.  Can anyone relate? :) 

Target Goodies...Winter Math and Literacy

Here are some wonderful goodies that I bought at Target.  I LOVE Target!  The book baskets and rectangular baskets are from the dollar section.  The plastic storage tubs are for my math stations( I am adding 5 more).  I will now have 12 stations! This idea came from Deedee Wills.  You can view how she organizes her stations here.

Polar Express and Misc.

Here is my Polar Express Crafitivity.  It is from Mrs. Jump's Polar Express unit.  My kids loved making this!

This is my plastic letter organizer.  I bought the container at Lowe's.  I saw this on Pinterest and I am glad I have it.  I bought stickers from my local school supply store.  Now, when as student needs a letter, they can simply pull and grab(my students put their letters in order every morning.  They know to do their morning work first, then do their letters, then read fromt their Ziplog bag (familiar reading).  Well, I hope that you have a Merry Christmas!
